The solution to our immigration problem will not be a simple one, as many things in our country need to be fixed to stop illegal immigration. The Senate most recently considered immigration when S.1639 was introduced in the 110th Congress. On June 28, 2007, the Senate rejected a cloture motion to proceed to final passage of S.1639 by a vote of 46 yeas to 53 nays. documented backlogs in the EB green card system that leave some foreign-born, highly educated
professionals waiting over six to 10 years to receive a permanent resident visa.
The three bills will address many shortcomings in the EB green card system. For example:
� H.R. 6039, by exempting highly educated, foreign-born students earning an advanced degree in
science, technology, engineering or mathematics from a U.S. university from the annual EB green
card limit, would help U.S. employers retain these talented individuals in the U.S. workforce. For
example, foreign nationals comprise half of the master�s and 70 percent of the Ph.D.s in electrical
engineering from U.S. universities.
� H.R. 5921 will help put an end to multi-year wait times by eliminating unduly restrictive per
country limits on EB green cards.
� H.R. 5882 will help to reduce visa backlogs by �recapturing� EB green cards from prior years
that went unused due to government processing delays and making them available immediately to

I have no problem with IV. I enjoy this forum and I really liked the that they did the rally last year and the flower campaign. I would like to do something about this whole situation (see my idea for The Two Cents Campaign (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24962)). I just have problems parting with money :) without knowing what I'll get.

How on earth doing AC-21 with H1 transfer be dangerous and using EAD be safe ???? And how is one abandoning his AOS by doing an H1 transfer ?? This post is totally misleading !
AC 21 means porting your EB sponsoring employer, whether you use H1 or EAD to work is your own decision. As someone mentioned in this thread, lots and lots of VOs might not be trained for AC-21 cases, which result in such erroneous denials ( which can be corrected by filing MTR) , let's not get confused by the errors made by USCIS. Errors are errors and it can happen for any case, to any body and off course this kind of errors can be corrected.

Else put together logically framed chronologically ordered history. Attach W2's for the years and demonstrate un-broken timeline.
If their is nothing to hid or falsify, ... don't worry about anything. Good news is your case is active. People here ( no offense to anyone) will split hairs trying to answer simple issue. Keep it simple and truthfull and nothing adverse will happen.

Senator Hilary Clinton introduced an amendment to exempt apllicant's dependents from visa quotos, which will reduce the retrogression signifcantly, why Core choose the Coryn's not supporting Hilary Clinton's? She is very likly to be our future president.
